HOW WE GOT HERE

Shop House started as a microphone and a question: Who's actually making money on TikTok Shop — and how?

Our founder, Tim Sanchez-Vega, spent a decade building audiences on YouTube before recognizing that the real opportunity wasn't entertainment — it was commerce. He launched Shop House Media, the first podcast dedicated entirely to social commerce, interviewing the creators and sellers quietly generating millions through TikTok Shop.

Those conversations revealed a gap: the most talented affiliates on the platform had no representation, no strategy team, and no one negotiating on their behalf. So we built one.

Tim Sanchez-Vega started creating content at 16, building one of YouTube's earliest sneaker channels under the name Legit Tim. Over a decade, he grew to 3M+ subscribers across two YouTube channels and established himself as a pioneer in the creator space — long before "creator economy" was a phrase anyone used.

After years in fashion and lifestyle content, Tim recognized that the future of media wasn't entertainment — it was commerce. He pivoted into TikTok Shop and became one of the platform's most influential voices, literally. His voice has been used in over a million TikTok Shop videos by other creators, becoming the unofficial sound of the affiliate movement.

Tim founded Shop House Media as the first podcast and media brand dedicated entirely to social commerce, interviewing the top-performing affiliates and sellers on TikTok Shop. Through Shop House Talent, he now manages a roster of elite creators who have collectively driven $116M+ in sales — connecting brands with creators who don't just influence, they convert.
